DEANNA BAUMGARDNER
DEANNA BAUMGARDNER, PHR and SHRM-CP – OWNER & HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTANT

Deanna (Arnold) Baumgardner is an HR Consultant with a solid generalist background and extensive experience in creating and establishing the Human Resources function for an organization. She has proven successful in her field by providing solid Human Resources guidance and leadership in various industries, for both small and large organizations. Her industry experience includes, but not limited to, commercial & residential construction, real estate development, hospitality, and distribution & manufacturing.

Deanna graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management and became a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) shortly thereafter. She has been an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) since 2003 and is an active member of the Charlotte Area Society for Human Resources Management (CASHRM), the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce, the Lake Norman Executive Group, is serving as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the LakeNormanHR SHRM Chapter and is on the HR Advisory Committee for the Mecklenburg County Board of County Commissioners.

LINDSAY COOBS
LINDSAY COOBS – REGIONAL HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTANT (ROANOKE, VA)

Lindsay is a dedicated Human Resources Consultant and Advisor who partners with small businesses and non-profits in the Roanoke Valley and surrounding region. Her areas of HR expertise include: compensation structure and planning; employee relations; coaching; training and development; performance management; recruiting; talent management; onboarding/termination; and all areas of HR administration and implementation.

Lindsay earned her Master’s Degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. She is a member of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Roanoke Valley SHRM chapter. She is dedicated to partnering with local businesses and working to improve the health of Roanoke’s small business community.

JENNIFER KENNERLY
JENNIFER KENNERLY, SPHR and SHRM-SCP – HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTANT

Jennifer is a Charlotte Human Resources Consultant and is a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She has practiced in the Human Resources field for over 20 years, providing her with enough experience to be one of Charlotte’s most seasoned Human Resources Consultants. Her background has exposed her to many generalist aspects of human resources including strategic management, organization change/design, recruiting, benefits strategy and management, employee services, employment practices, training and continuing education. Her intuitive people skills, sharp business acumen and excellent leadership and coaching skills have driven her success in critical roles with increasing responsibility throughout her career.

Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Appalachian State University. She is a member of the National Society of Human Resources Management and the President of Kickstart for Character, a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing access to training Martial Arts to children who are not otherwise financially able to train.

ZINA EGILSSON, PHR
ZINA EGILSSON, PHR – HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTANT & RECRUITER

Zina has 20 years of experience in Human Resources. She served as an HR Director for a Structural Engineering firm for 10 years where she was responsible for operations, budgeted labor costs, benefits, payroll, organizational & strategic planning, as well as recruiting & hiring for PE Civil/Structural & PHD level engineers and all the other positions within the company. She ran a Staffing Agency in South Park for 6 years. Prior to that she held the position of HR Staffing Specialist for the U.S. Department of Defense. She held a Top Secret Security Clearance while running the Civilian Personnel Office where she staffed all the facilities on the Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marine base for 4 years in Japan.

SHANNON CURTIS
SHANNON CURTIS – HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTANT

Shannon Curtis is a Human Resource Business Partner with her Professional in Human Resources credentials. She has served in a Human Resource capacity for over 15. Until recently, she has functioned as an in-house Business Partner for organizations in nearly all industries, spanning from a nonprofit to a mortgage company to a newspaper to a financial institution. Whether recruiting for a specialized IT position, or implementing benefits open enrollment for 500 employees, she has become comfortable navigating the challenges of serving as a representative for both the employees and upper management.

Shannon graduated from Ohio University with a specialization in Human Resources and she and her family recently moved to Charlotte from Chicago.

TAMMY MEDICO, PHR and SPHR-CP – HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTANT

Tammy is an extremely experienced and highly capable Strategic Human Resources professional who has excelled in a diverse set of industries. She shines at implementing strategic initiatives while integrating balance between progressive solutions and consideration of employee and management needs. She served as the VP of Human Resources for a mid-sized bank, a Senior HR Consultant for the Industrial and tech sectors, a VP of Human Resources for 25 airport locations across the US and in leadership positions in the non-profit and financial sectors. Tammy graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Granite State College.

LINDSAY HURST
LINDSAY HURST – HUMAN RESOURCES CONSULTANT

Lindsay relocated to Charlotte from Anchorage, Alaska where he owned, managed and eventually sold a successful small business. He has more than 20 years of broad executive HR/Management experience in the technology/software/financial industries with a focus on talent acquisition/retention, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, change management, coaching and HR administration.

Lindsay graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor’s degree in Business/HR & Labor Relations and a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Psychology. His passion is working as a business partner with small to mid-sized organizations at both a tactical and strategic level.

KATE BARAN
KATE BARAN – HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR

Kate comes from Chicago with extensive experience supporting large organizations in their HR functions. From Professional Development to recruiting, Kate excels at identifying areas of improvement and facilitating efficient and streamlined processes. She has a passion for helping individuals navigate the corporate world for career growth and organizational benefit. In her spare time, Kate enjoys teaching and practicing yoga, hiking in the mountains, and a strong cup of coffee.
